Good decision, and I'll bet you are going to be thrilled when the time comes.
I got my 2nd girl only 3 months after the first and it worked out great (although some don't recommend so close). Then when those 2 turned 1 I got 2 lil sisters. Having 4 is awesome, they are in buddy pairs, but also all get along very well. It's not for everybody, but it sure makes my life complete. (Oh and I also have a very old Schnauzer boy, who I don't count... cause he just sleeps all the time, haha).
