I hope you find Mindy a home where she is loved as much as you love your son, Greg. He was lucky to have come to you. |
Thank you.. I have been feeling nothing but pure, horrible guilt since the placement didn't work out. And I am a very sensitive person, and I DO take things personally. Unfortunately, I cannot change it.. already tried..LOL just ask my poor husband.
I would just rather keep Mindy, but she just really doesn't like other dogs and I really am thinking of her first.
I have had a bunch of emails from CL about Mindy, hardly anyone is reading the entire ad.
Mindy the Yorkie is ready to be adopted..Read all about her..
And people with little kids, other dogs, etc are wanting her event though I am clear in the ad. I have had 3 people ask me to waive the fee...
The only reason I have a fee up is to keep the flippers away. But to email me and right off the bat ask me to waive the fee is tacky I feel. I adopted a shih tzu out last year and had a fee, well when I placed her I refused the money because I knew they were the right home and I didn't need the money or want it.
They handed me the money and "demanded" I take it..LOL.. so I did but I donated it to a local rescue I know and trust. After all they did put an ad on their petfinder space for me as a favor. It's a cocker rescue I helped get started and know the woman very well who runs it.
I completely respect good, honest rescues and support them. I guess I have just run into a few bad ones. One being the one I used to work with, it was horrible. they let the females get pg and then would "adopt" out the pups for high amounts. It's a long story..
So when I was writing about rescues in a bad light I was thinking of them. That wasn't fair so I do apologize.
