Samy demanded to be in my lap since first week we got him (3.5 months). When he is sleepy, he looks so desperate to get on the couch and if my hands are anywhere near my lap he would push them and place himself comfortably. If I walk around the house he would wait for me until I sit somewhere and again want to get up on my lap. If my husband and I are both on the couch he would rotate between us but mostly would sleep next to me, either on my lap or on the pillow behind my back - half laying on my shoulders, half on the pillow... he is a nice neck warmer
