many times puppy brokers posing as breeders have just the puppies, and the parents are not there b/c they are really lying to you and getting the puppies from puppy mills
. they know that it will expose them if you want to come and get the puppies and see the parents, which should be there with the puppies.
any puppy can get ill, but it's much more likely to have health problems if its parents are in a puppy mill b/c its parents are not cared for properly.
and the other stuff the other posters said!!! i think mardelin's post about purchasing a breeder first is really key!! you have to feel confident that not only is the breeder nice (anyone trying to get this much cash will be nice to you), but that you can trust them!!
