Oh, and the breeders here are just as bad. Just look in the paper and you'll see Yorkies..."6 weeks old, shots and wormed, READY TO GO!" I think that feeds some of the ideas people have.
On the flip side, there are some very nice, caring people here. Like anywhere, you just have to careful when placing your babies. The ones that don't want to go through my process just don't get one of mine. I try to educate the ones that have unreasonable expectations so whatever pup they get doesn't suffer at their hands. I often spend a lot of time with folks that I know I don't have a baby for, just to educate them on the breed and what to watch out for in a breeder. The ones that don't want to listen I just say, "well, I'm sure there's someone out there that will tell you just what you want to hear".
