It always ends up like though. Parents get dogs for their kids, and it ends up being the parents dog. It's kind of inevitable because obviously the parent is typically gonna feed the dog, take the dog to the vet, give the dog attention when kids aren't home, etc. We had 2 dogs growing up that were "mine" but they clearly were my dads.
