it's been about two months, but my husband and i saw this man (kind of scraggly looking) walking with his son who looked about 6 years old - and he was holding a gas can. the nearest station was about two miles away and it was COLD out!!
we pulled into the gas station to turn around so we could pick them up and just then saw the man/child getting out of someone else's car with the gas can.
i just always try to put myself in other people's shoes. i would hate to think i had to walk two miles with my 5 year old and/or 3 year old in the freezing cold and nobody would stop to help. what a desperate moment! |
