I think the ipad is just one of those things you learn to think of as a necessity. Like internet browsing on the phone, do you really need it??? I use to have it on my phone and I swore I could never live without it. I gave it up 4 years ago and really, I don't need it. It was really handy, and I really enjoyed having it. I think the ipad falls withing the same category. Besides, isn't the same size as a macbook? (as big as a macbook, with the capacity of an ipod touch?) So the convenience factor really isn't there. I couldn't justify having a macbook, ipod touch, iphone, and a ipad. I would minimize to a ipod, laptop, and my phone.
