I lost a lot of respect for a lot of people today. I don't always agree with everyone on YT, but I do respect most everyone, especially the long time breeders who have had a lot of experience and have a lot of knowledge, and the rescue people, who have helped and saved so many animal.
I understand their frustration with people who ask questions and refuse to take advice. And with new breeders who did not do any research and make mistakes that could have been avoided.
But does being an experienced breeder or an animal rescuer give them a license to be rude to someone who comes on with a legitimate problem, looking for a real answer.
Does it give them the right to belittle someone who is less fortunate or disabled.
Some of the comments made in this thread
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...ach-other.html were absolutely deplorable.
They were totally discriminating and uncalled for and did nothing to solve the problem, nor were they informative for other people researching an issue, they were just down right MEAN.
The only thing anyone would have learned from their remarks is to not come on here asking questions, especially if you are poor and disabled.
I have been in a lot of heated debates on here, but never did I belittle someone for being poor.
I was raised to be compassionate and to never think I was better than anyone else.
To those people, all I have to say is "Shame on You". And you know who you are.
