Thanks ltret, that is what I did too that I saw someone say about diluting it. I did use Dawn last Sunday but I didn't get to the vet as soon as I thought I would for her meds so I have to do it again. At that time I did not dilute, and her skin where she had some flea bites got really red and she seemed a teeny uncomfortable over it after even though I rinsed her off very well and used a conditioner so thats why I asking about diluting the Dawn. She was fine after a short time but just seemed the Dawn irritated the bites. Don't want to do that again!

And thanks jadabug, I will have to look after I bathe her and she settles down today to see if the area is irritated. I'm not sure if it is or not yet because I wanted to bathe her first but just wanted to ask questions first. The instructions did say not to apply to broken or irritated skin. But kind of strange since if a dog has fleas most of the skin would be kind of 'irritated'.
