Also I use a conditoner (about the size of a dime or less in the palm of my hand) on her. I spread it ONLY on the ends of her hair, leave it on for about 60 seconds and rinse it off. It's a natural and organic product by Aubrey Organics - Island Naturals Replenishing Conditioner, that I buy from Whole Foods. It is for dry, frizzy hair and detangles. I do understand that it's a human
product but it works fabulous and her hair is shiney, growing and flowing beautifully. After reading the ingredients I felt very comfortable with using it. I prefer products that are not harsh or full of chemicals. Most pet brands are that way and cause more harm than good IMO for sensitive skin and hair.
