Sydney's vet said the same thing, LadyJane. And you are so right. He said that she will eat when she's hungry. If she doesn't eat, I just leave the food dish out for her. She comes around eventually. It saves money, too, because I'm not switching food. The warm water does help just for the fact it makes them curious about their food, but I don't switch brands.
