Heyas! I have just got a new flea med for Lolli that has heartworm included, but I have a few questions. Well I think she might have contracted a flea or two. She doesn't itch incessantly but just a bit more than usual. I tried to look for the flea/s or flea dirt and I don't see any. If she does have some fleas, is it still OK to apply the medication?

What if the area indicated on the instructions to apply the med (the med is Advantage Multi) on her is 'irritated' from an itch? Because the instructions say to not apply to irritated skin. But she isn't itching horribly to have open sores or anything.

Should I give her a bath first?
