I have switched back and forth with no issues. In my opinion, dogs become picky eaters because their owners make them that way. They refuse one meal and the owners get worried and try to find something they will like. Then, it just keeps on going ..and going...and going.
Children become picky that way as well. If you put food down and they refuse it...and you don't give them something else....they will eat the next time!
