I also have a puppy that will be 12 mos. next month. I have exactly the same problem that you have. We keep the pad in the bathroom and she uses it most of the time, but she goes to the edge or beside it. We've tried more pads but same results. When she was younger she was a lot better about hitting the pad. We also take her outside, but the pad is for times we are out or when it's bad weather. She still goes on the floor in the dining room quite often. We put a potty pad there and she doesn't use it. I can't believe Cricket is almost 1 yr. old and isn't potty trained. We have tried every method we have heard of and nothing seems to work. |
