It is normal for dogs to eat very little for a day or two and then a few days later eat everything in the bowl.

I think people make their dogs picky by doing just what you are doing, changing food, dding things to it etc. , Dogs will eat the same thing every day fr their entire lives.

How big is she? if she is active and pooping and peeing, then I would not worry if she goes a day or two and doesn't eat much. she is probably not growing very much and doesn't require as much as she did when she was younger.

I have 8 dogs, they all eat the same thing. Some days it is all gone by noon and other days there is food left over.

I put out two different foods, some days they eat more of one and some days the other and some days all of both kinds.

It is fine to give the chicken, but I wold do it seperately so she does not think it is a substitute for her dog food.
