It is just the journey you are on...just when you think one thing, something else comes along that makes you go in another direction...
I said this was a very complex issue (like kennel madness) and it is not as simple as we just implement all no-kill shelters..Once you figure out in order to do right by the animals all new shelters have to be built and it takes a huge number of people to run them correctly. While I think many organizations raise $$$, and a lot, I still haven't a clue if it would be enough. People get confused with advocates and what their roles are and why $$$ is needed by these organizations. I really would like to see BF's annual report (I have never looked for it before) to see how much $$$ they take in and spend. I know they have a strong volunteer organization but in order to understand we need more numbers.
