So, if she doesn't potty outside, she spends time in her crate and we try again. It's heartbreaking to hear her cry, but the sooner she gets it, the sooner life will be better for us all. Thankfully she usually only goes once every 3-4 hours, so we don't have to go through this much.. so far, only once a day as she usually goes!

She's just over 5 pounds, so does she need to eat overnight? She hasn't been touching the food I've left in her xpen. She is fed 4 times a day, once right before bedtime, that should get her through till morning at her size, right?
I never fed Jackson overnight. He always got 3 meals a day as a pup. He was 6lbs at 12 weeks old. He typically would wake up 1x in the middle of the night around 3am to potty and go right back to bed as a pup. In fact I would pick his water bowl up right before bedtime and last potty of the night.... I still do usually pick it up because a few times he's gotten up in the middle of the night and drank a bunch and then woke me up at 4am to go potty which he never does, so I just pick up his water. He's fine without it overnight.
