These are cute - I remember picking my son up from pre-school and he must have just found out the name 'Richard' has a short version....Dick. (no laughing - we all know someone named 'dick' right ?
Well....he gets in the car with me and looks over with the most serious face and says "Mom ? Can I tell you something?" I'm like ...."of couse honey - what do you want to tell me" ?
he said in this somber voice..."I'm so glad you named me Reid and not Richard"
so I asked "Why are you so glad ?" and he says..." I just am"
I had to hold in my laughter cause I knew exactly what he was trying to tell me and no way was he going to say the D word in front of mommy
