I stay away from beef and anything high in fat. In fact my Ava's breeder said beef never crossed her yorkie's lips. She feels it is too rich for their sensitive digestive tracts. Anther breeder told me i made a mistake when i fed my puppy ham. She said no pork for yorkies so I stay away from prok too and they occasionally get bolied chicken or turkey with rice.
Eggs are also okay occasionally and mine usually get this treat on Saturday mornings. Carrots are good, cheese is okay, as is fish I think. I would be afraid of the gravy because of the fat content. Cottage cheese is good too. |
