glad your son is okay - and his dog! small dogs usually don't have a fighting chance (literally) when attacked by a large dog. thank goodness for that at least!
i live in TN as well - and in a secluded area (not a hick town) but secluded as in we live on a pretty large piece of land. even here - i had large dogs (one being a pit) run onto my property. i guess everyone thinks they know their dogs and don't think they would harm anyone. that usually is the case (except when it isn't!) which is obvious by the tragedy you've shared with us.
i can't believe the way the dog's owners reacted! i may have missed the mention of it, but did they find the owners to question them/hold them accountable? |
