This morning I nicely asked my mom if we could try a different way of training, considering we haven't gotten anywhere. I just told her to not worry about the puppy, as I will handle him. She agreed!! He hasn't had an accident all day! I know one day isn't much, but i'm still so excited!

Glad to hear your Mom and you are on the road to working together in training precious Mushu.
Please don't give into rehoming Mushu, I can feel the need in your life to have him with you. I truely believe it will all work out.
Hitting is a real no, no, I pray that your Mom has come to realize this already. I hope real soon that your Mom will feel the over powering of love for Mushu such as you do.
