We have one that does take dramamine for car sickness. The vet told us to cut the 25 mg (this is a more expensive pill of the dramamine, but they stated to not get the 50mg) and cut into 4ths. Then to give one of those a half an hour to an hour before hand and if that didn't work to go up from there up to a pill (of the 25mg). The 4th of a pill works great for our girl and doesn't make her tired or any side effects at all except for no drooling and barfing! LOL They said that you would want to use the least amount possible to make it work. They also told us that they also have a pill there that they carry, but it is pretty much the same thing? Just to note though....this is just what our vet told us!
