 We have puppies!!
I just posted yesterday that Roxanne may be up to something, but her due date isn't til 4/6/10! We had puppies last night! A total of 5 (when I expected 3). 1 boy and 4 girls. 5.1 oz, 4.6 oz, 4.2 oz, and two at 2.8 oz. All strong, altho the small little girls are rather skinny!!! All nursing well. I rotated the bigger ones out for a few hours last night, after they had their fill, trying to make sure the little ones get as much as they want from Momma. I will be supplementing, it looks like; 5 is the biggest yorkie litter I've ever had. BUT, I am happy and tired and Roxy did a GREAT job. I'm off to make whelping pudding; just thot I'd pop in here with my good news.... = ) Happy Easter! |
