Is it possible she might be getting a bit 'too' discomforted by this noise if perhaps she has sensitive ears or something? It still seems odd how they worded it to say "not very painful" instead of saying something like "not painful at all". Just a food for thought. Even I use the device still in hope she will begin to respond someday but maybe I will consider this a bit more.
I know it hurts MY ears.. Not every time I use it but most of the time. I have severe hearing loss but I can hear really high pitch sounds that nobody else can hear and it hurts, makes me dizzy too..
