If you read my post you'll see that pepper spray does not work on dogs. It has to be one especially for dogs, mail carriers carry them. You can find them on the internet search under like "pepper spray for dogs". Also if you are carrying the same one for a few years, it may not be any good anymore as they lose their potency. I get a new one every couple of years. My husband has been reading over my shouler (must be a cop thing) and he asked me to tell the women to please be aware of your surroundings at all times, if it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't
