I just watched a show about pit bulls and their getting into fights. It was scary that they don't let go unless they are basically picked up by the hind legs to throw them off balance then pulled apart but not without some pretty major damage. I replied to another reader below here with some ideas but being married to a cop I'm always taught about being safe so my husband insists that I carry a knife with me. It's a pocket knife, not really big or anything and I absolutely would not use it unless I have no other choice against a large aggressive dog. I would not hesitate to save my little girl or if my life was in danger also. Those dogs that are that aggressive are not happy loved dogs. It's 99% the owners fault. Now days people want big strong dogs to protect them and their family and home but they have no clue how to correctly train them or handle them. Those dogs are a walking time bomb! So I went on and one but it's a sore subject for me to see these beautiful dogs being treated as a killing machine.

I called animal services but so far he is still out there... |
