I think this is a wonderful idea too! Legitimate rescues are not people taking in dogs an rehoming them to anyone. They have rules that need to be followed and a system in place. There have been so called rescues that have even come on YT in the past that we found out were doing nothing more than passing off Puppymill castoffs. I became friends on YT with someone that came to the board to defend the "rescue" and she is not a foster mom with YHR after listening and learning.
There are a few other sites that I always try to discourage people from even looking at the pets that are advertised. It's just too hard to wade through all the trash to even find any good on some of these sites. Why make it more confusing trying to pick a good pet by adding placed like the above mentions site that you have to use caution purchasing from. Another horrible place is Hoobly.com, the first time that I looked there I cried
