I know what you mean. But they also need to be prepared just in case. Many of the dogs in pounds are there unfortunely not related to anything they did. It is mostly due to humans. Yes, there are dogs in there that make wonderful pets and I would not want to deter anyone from adopting. You just need to be well informed to be prepared just in case. I would never change my adoptions. They were my babies and I hope it was me that gave them a second chance, even though the two I adopted did change my home a bit. I do have to admit that adopting a healthy happy well adjusted pup from a reputable well educated breeder is the best situation, but not all pups are adopted this way for everyone and not a choice all people make. It is up to one's own family at the time and their specific situations at the time.
