So many people think a healthy human diet is a healthy dog diet, and this isn't true, and it's really hard to give them all the calcium they need in a home cooked diet, unless you suppliment. I know Purina is not a popular choice here on YT, but she probably doesn't have the choices we have, and I'm sure it's not related to the dog's condition. Changing foods when a dog is already stressed isn't a good idea either. |
Home cooking is the best and safest way to feed. Ever stop to think about what dogs ate before someone decided to take dead animals from farms, labs, vets., and road kill since they are free, and make some type of nasty brown dried things called dog food for profit? Dogs lived a much longer and healthier life when eating real food. Now our companion animals are plagued with cancers and other serious medical problems that are in epidemic proportions due to dog food, flea and tic meds and over inoculating.
These things are not government regulated. Ever wonder why the rendering plants won't let you come in? You don't even know what the heck your animals are eating when you buy commercial pet foods. How can anyone say pet food is better than real food? Where is it written?
Maybe this is another good time to post this information.
