Default Water Issue

Wookie is about 80% good with his potty training. He's 6 months. He hasn't had an accident (that we know about) in a few months. He is a really bad water gulper. Not only would he drink it so fast that he'd throw up or burp, but I can't seem to keep enough water in the bowl. Every time I'd fill it up he'd sit there and drink it all. He'd never stop drinking until I just stopped filling it. He's been cleared by the vet for any urinary issues. I switched over to giving him ice cubes, but now I feel he isn't getting enough water. Now that he's pretty reliant with his potty training, I want to start using water in a bowl again.

Any suggestions to prevent him from gulping or from incessantly drinking gallons of water?
