We had an African Grey named Nigel. "She" was the smartest animal I ever owned. When my son moved out he took her with him. I still get to visit. If you go on squidoo.com there are a collection of "birdie bread" recipes to make for your grey. It helps on days that you don't have time to make a special salad for your new bird. You can make a batch and freeze it as well. Enjoy...I am jealous. Rose
