I know you were trying to help, you are a concerned and caring person... I think some of the info in the article is actually dangerous though... and it sounds like something that was current in the 1950's or 60's.
After I posted, I realized the hair was coming out probably more due to the fungal problem.... when just scabies is present and the coat is still in halfway decent shape, treatment with Revolution is just as effective on a long coat as a short one. Cutting down was always done more because of the oldschool treatment with shampoos and dips, just easier to manage that way. And as he's a puppy, his hair isn't long yet anyway.
See my quote above and the article, my main issue is with the suggestion of injecting Revolution and other topical meds IV ... never heard of doing this with a topical, and I feel this would be dangerous to do. |
Thanks for clearing that up, when you said, "I am not unclean and I don't live in a garbage dump, I don't live in a third world country", it led me to believe the last sentence offended you. I'm glad that there are so many here who can give her good advice.
