Liking your vet as a person is awesome, but if he isn't able to take the time that you need, then maybe somebody else around you is? Ten minutes is pretty average, but it is nearly impossible to have a couple 10 minutes appointments a year and have a great client/patient/vet relationship... Maybe he will let you email him questions and he can answer them at a better time? |

! I have made so many mistakes, I mean it's a constant evolving learning process. And honestly, I did have to go through a *lot* of vets here before I found one who would listen and really think about what was happening, clinically, with my boys.
Yen, it was really stressful, in many ways, to move on to a new vet - even when my gut and head knew I wasn't getting the care I wanted -- but once I finally found someone good - it was such a relief.
