After 8 years I still make mistakes with Ellie constantly. It's okay.

Liking your vet as a person is awesome, but if he isn't able to take the time that you need, then maybe somebody else around you is? Ten minutes is pretty average, but it is nearly impossible to have a couple 10 minutes appointments a year and have a great client/patient/vet relationship... Maybe he will let you email him questions and he can answer them at a better time?
i like my vet as a person because he is very caring. and he always will say "if this is my dog, i would..." and him saying that just makes me feel better. and he would always let me know what procedures/tests are available but only if i want to have them performed. he never push anything unnecessary to make money.

i just don'e understand how 10-15 minutes is enough time, and like i said, that is him spending a lot of time with us. my friend goes to him, and he spends about 5 min with her. that is just crazy. and i know that his staff really guards his time. they always tell me to make an appt with him if i have questions... do vets really give out their email addy?
