i just called the breeder because i couldn't find davinci's paperwork.
he had puppy shots at 7 weeks old, 10 weeks old, and i was supposed to give him two more puppy shots at 13 weeks old and another one after that. the breeder didn't want me to give the rabies shot until around 6 months old, or whenever the 2nd set of teeth come in.
i got confused because MY VET told me it was time for his rabies shot. that's why it's all messed up now.
i am upset with myself for not being more informed. are the vets supposed to give rabies shot that early? when is the best time to give rabies shot? my breeder thinks when the 2nd set of teeth come in.
