My yorkie was just spayed on yesterday. Her name is CoCo and she is 3.6 pounds, she will be 6 months on December 1st. I was so devastated. I cried all day. I dropped her off at 8:00 am and they told me to pick her up at 6:00 pm. She looked so sad when I picked her up. Today she looks a little happier but it's hard. The vet told me not to let her lick or bite the scar because that's how they get infections. He also said not to let her run or play for the next 10 days. It's hard because for 10 days I have to keep my eyes on her at all times. Does anyone know any easier ways to get through the next 10 days, she was trying to lick the scar already? I don't know if I regret it yet, I'll keep you posted.
