Even though it is not the standard we preferred the floppy ears so we kept Biggie's ear hair long to prevent them from standing up. He is super cute with floppy ears. He has rather big ears so I don't think he would have looked all that cute with huge standing ears.
For our new pup, we have asked the Breeder not to tape her ears. We are going to let them do their own thing unless they are big like Biggie's...then we will likely try to keep them floppy.
