I hadn't heard that I should breed her by the time she was 3 years old. I waited so long because, the male I had was 6lbs. and stocky. His pups with Raven who is 7lbs. proved to be just like him. I got a new male, but he just turned 1 in Dec. and is not interested, yet. So I decided to get stud service. The male is 4.5lbs, has sired many litters and they have been between 2 and 3oz. at birth. I have/will watch her closely, she sleeps at the bottom of my bed everynight.
To yorkiemom11: She is still a little swollen. And yes Raven was swollen throughout, but just much more obvious than Ryann...So I guess we'll just have to sit and wait. |
