How do your Yorkies like riding in the back seat alone?
It makes me feel guilty just to think that I won't be in the back seat with them - LOL.
Are they easy to install? Right now I have a front car seat, and the air bag thing really bothers me, and I don't feel
safe letting her ride in the front seat anymore.
Sorry to bother you again, but thanks a million.

Morning Kate,
I will try and answer your questions as their are so many choices. I was very lucky when I got mine because a friend of mine already had her's and she walked me through this.
You will probably think I am nuts but I have 2 of the Lookout 1, 1 Buddy and 2 consoles. I have 10 dogs so I can put 2 of the lookouts and 1 buddy in the back seat and fill all 3 of them with the dogs. All of my dogs wear harness's and the lookout seats come with a strap with latches so once you have the dogs in the seats you wrap the strap around the top part of the seatbelt and hook it to their harness. Here is the link from snoozer on how to install the seats.

Once they came out with the snoozer consoles I picked up the 2 different sizes because I work for an automotive company and I am exchanging company cars every 3 months. The consoles are based on the kind of car/truck you drive. The car size is small and only really works for my 3# girl or 4#boy. The truck size is great for my 5/6# dogs.
I find that all of my dogs will lay down in any of the lookout seats and go to sleep. They also like to get use them in the house to sleep. I don't know what size your little one is and if you were planning on having 2 yorkies but I can easily put my 2 little ones together in the Lookout 1 but if I was planning for long term I probably would get the buddy seat and then you wouldn't have to buy another one down the road.
While it is true many of the newer trucks have the sensor in the front passenger seats alot of the cars don't but this could change but the vehicle you drive today might not be the vehicle you drive in a couple of years. Your lookout seat will last a life time so you want to plan for something that works in all cars/trucks. I think the safest place for your furbaby is in the backseat just like they advise people with their human children. It is also less distraction for me but you will have to make that choice just like humans do with their children. I do know my gang loves to sit up high and watch what is going on around them. It does get a little crazy when we come to a stop light and someone in the next car has a big dog. My gang will go crazy! In terms of car sickness I do think it is helpful as they have a firmer foothold with these beds, can look out and are not moving all over the backseat, again just like a human. Just to be on the safe side I do put towels on each seat so it is an easier clean up than taking the cover off and washing. Taking off the cover is easier but putting it back on a piece of foam is a little tougher.
Kate if you want to have me call you and talk live just PM me with your phone number and I will answer any questions you might have.
