I know what you mean. We like to go to Vegas a couple times a year. We have been looking at all boarding places. I would'nt put a dead horse (lol just a expression) in them. Also, ask how many times do they take them out potty. The nicest one we found said twice. Now I can't hold it that long. I think we will go with our neighbor. She is wonderful, we do pay her but hate to bother her. She is willing tho and our pup will get out side many times. She has taken care of our dogs in the past but lets face it a Yorkie has high energy. We are all older people here. Our pup likes to potty at 5 in the mornings and 8 before bed time. Our neighbor cannot be here at that time. The boarding places aren't even open at that time. So if you can find a great neighbor that is the way to go. We pay the same as the kennels. Our neighbor would care for pup for nothing but we want to pay her. Taking care of a Yorkie can be work.
