 Ovulation Day in a heat cycle
I recenty bred my female yorkie. She was not receptive to the male until her 14th day of heat. Would this mean she is a late ovulator or did she miss her ovulation. If she where pregnant (she would only be about 9 days) would her vulva start to deminsion is size and then swell whens she was further along in her pregnancy or would it continue to swell after she was done with her heat cycle. Also another question. She has produced little sores around her vulva since she was breed. My female and the male I bred her with has never been bred before. Can dogs catch anything from another dog, even if they had never bred with another dog before. Any knowlegde would be appreciated. Thanks |
