Can you believe that the Doctor never called us to let us know how the surgery went. I had to call and I spoke to the girl at the front desk. Tonight the girl said that the vet was in the back with another patient and she had left me the instructions for the meds. But again no call or information.
At this point I am wondering, am I over reacting with the attention that I am expecting? Like I said before I've never thankfully had an emergency like this with my pups.

awww she looks so pitiful but glad she's home - I've not heard of ear surgery for this kind of thing and I had cockers that were so prone to ear problems....nice to hear she's doing so well recovering
and NO you are not expecting too much of that vet. IMO - they seem to be about the $$ based on what you just said....Hospital care involves not only the physical but emotional issues - any doctor with a heart would be trying to set your mind at ease - which applies to regular doctors AND vets
