Hi. I just wanted to welcome you to YT! I didnt see your thread yesterday.
I have 4 beautiful Yorkies, they are all different. I have one whose ears never went up, one who weighs 12 lbs, one is a parti carrier, and one who is absolutely gorgeous and in my mind meets standard perfectly. Yet, they are ALL AKC. THEY ARE ALL PERFECT!
I say this to say, it doesnt matter what others think about your babies when YOU chose them and love them. Loving them and giving them the best home is what matters.
I am not a breeder, I just love Yorkies. I respect most of the breeders on this site because they really do make sure they do it the right way. If they learn someone isnt doing it the right way, they speak out. Really, it is a good thing.
I read the entire thread this morning. When I was new to YT I thought people were attacking people, but then I got to know everyone. They have taught me so much!
Looking at the thread, it did seem harsh. But, everyone gives tough love around here. They are serious about educating about Yorkies.
Don't be offended by their passion. They really do care! I hope you will look to the future & put that thread in the past. You will enjoy YT so much! BTW...I would love to have a white Yorkie some day! I think they are beautiful!
