For the yard, that would the brass ring for me if I could figure that one out!....LOL......I'm still working on that one, I have a very sandy soil and fleas
are a problem......
I don't use D.E. on the yard for several reasons.... the yard is too large.... and the D.E. would have to be reapplied again after it rains....not good.......
I tried nematodes late last summer.....I can't really give any opinions on it because I don't know what happened yet, I have read that nematodes need a yard that is more on the shadier, side, mine is in straight sun, not so good for nematodes....
I was just on a "natural" web site today and their suggestion was to get one of those jars that attach to the end of the hose, like a Miracle Grow spreader, put 2 oz. of dish soap in and fill the rest with water, then spray the lawn well once a week to kill fleas. I would imagine it would work better if it was done after a rain or a watering with the sprinkler to get the yard wet first so the soapy water doesn't get absorbed too fast. ...I'm intrigued and may give it a try in a week or so....I just don't know why soap would kill them, when it would only be in direct contact with them for a few seconds....

...Oh well, it's worth a try......
I also found this but I couldn't find any reviews on it to see if it was a joke.....

...If we can get to the root of the problem, which is the yard, then the dogs become a non issue.......
