There are lots of guides on what you need to have your dog vaccinated for, and not all are needed. I've always had my boys vaccinated for bordatella, rabies, and dhpp (pretty sure that's all they need, too). I believe they've had them all at once before. They haven't ever had reactions, but they are sometimes kinda sore and grumpy, just like a baby is when they get their shots.
They get Interceptor each month, too. It's a pill that they take for heartworm and some other parasites.
