Hi - we don't have insurance. We have our Yorkie, Darwin (11 months) and our big 3/4 Great Pyrenees Zain, (20 months) and our 14 year old Bengal cat Sidney. I have heard good things and bad things about insurance. We decided to not go for insurance and we just know that the money we save on insurance will go toward vets if we need it. We have had many pets that have led very long lives and have been "lucky" enough to not have anything serious happen. We are also financially able to spend a reasonable amount of money if we ever do need it. Having three pets, one who is very large, it would cost too much money to pay on a regular basis.

On the other hand I do know people who have had several things happen to their pets and the insurance has helped them a lot. I know this isn't very helpful but I thought you would like to know about as many people's experience as possible. Good luck!
