Just a thought regarding attracting the attention of people: years ago, women in our area were encouraged to purchase police whistles. You can yell for help all you want, but one blast off a whistle tends to turn heads. They're also good for hikers who get lost ... the sound travels much further than calls do.
But, perhaps if you gave a blast off a whistle you could attract human help faster? | Yeah, I think I heard regular pepper spray can possibly permanently damaged a dogs eyes or lungs....That's why there is a special one for animals...But you know, I think the whistle is a great idea...And I wonder if that, alone, might not scare of the unleashed animals? Of course it would scare your own babies too, so I don't know? I think the most indignent I get, is when I walk my two on a leash, and come across people watering their dogs, loose, in the front yard...They always say sorry, but sorry won't get it, if they try to hurt my kidz...And if I'm on the other side of the street, I worry their dogs might chase across the street, and get hit by a car...I just everyone would follow the leash law... |
