Magnus got neutered past friday. I was able to bring him home with me the same day. Not sure how much bundle of energy Mickey is but you might want to keep him confined so he won't be able to run/jump around too much. I had a hard time with Magnus b/c of that. I was basically following him EVERYWHERE around the kitchen/hallway/living room.
Even with that, he'd manage to jump on the couch, run somewhere quite a few times in that split second I didn't watch him. I think that's what kept him from recovering faster. The area where he had the surgery seems almost non existent now but I think he's still little sore. His back legs looks slightly stiff when he walks slow. Otherwise, I can't tell when he's walking faster or runs.
And another thing to give you heads up on in case the your vet doesn't mention it. Mickey might not go poop for couple days but that's normal. I read that they might strain a bit while peeing too but Magnus was peeing fine just didn't poop for almost 3 days. (The vet didn't tell me so I got worried) Hope Mickey recovers fast! |
