I decided to splurge. They have a few plans & you can choose your deductible & percent of coverage. I got the Silver plan that covers 80% of the vet's bill (not a payment scale from the company, the actual vet bill) & I pay a $50 deductible. It will cover up to $12,000 a year. This plan cost $307. We got 15% discount - 5% for microchipping, 5% for a web quote (rather than calling) & 5% for entering a code I found online.
